And so, here we are. Christmas Eve. If our planning has gone correctly, presents are wrapped, trees are decorated, menus are set, travel plans are done, parties have been attended, and we are all ready for a nap. On the other hand, as things usually happen, things don’t always work out as planned. You might be trying to get children to bed so they can finish wrapping and setting up for Christmas morning, going to midnight mass, or cooking late so dinner can be early on the big day. Wherever you are in your plans- congratulations! You did it! Regardless of what goes right or what goes wrong, you put in a lot of hard work. Give yourself a break.
Tomorrow, as you wish others Merry Christmas, remember every smile, every hug, and every thank you. Enjoy every moment. Don’t worry about perfection. Those tender moments are what it’s all about. They are the memories.
